Our Doctors

Dr. Eagan

Spencer Eagan, M.D., a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School, co-founded Saint Luke’s Plastic Surgery Specialists after completing a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia.

A native of Lawrence, Kan., Dr. Eagan grew up in Wisconsin. But to him, Kansas City still feels like home, with nearly all of his extended family residing in the area. As the oldest of five children, family life has always remained a priority for Dr. Eagan. He has been married for almost 17 years and has three children that occupy the majority of his time outside the hospital.

For recreation, he enjoys all sporting and outdoor activities including golf, fishing, and hiking.

Dr. Markey

Dr. Markey is a double-board certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive surgeon, one of the few in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Dr. Markey specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and operates exclusively on the face and neck.

He was born and raised in Kansas City – attended Kansas State University and received his medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine.  He received his surgical training from some of the most prestigious institutions in the country.  He underwent Head and Neck Surgery training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) a U.S. News & World Report Top 10 Best Hospital.  He then completed additional facial plastic surgery specialization at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, OR.

Dr. Markey subsequently served in the academic faculty at New York University Langone Medical Center, another Top 10 Best Hospital, performing facial plastic surgery and teaching residents and fellows.  He returned home to Kansas City with his wife, Ellie, in 2019.
